PREPARATION GUIDE

Translation Document Checklist

Clarify what the receiving organization needs before ordering general or certified translation.

  1. Identify The Receiving Organization

Record the institution, purpose, required language and deadline. Ask for its current written translation requirements.

  2. Check The Required Format

Ask whether a certified translation, original document, copy, translator statement or another format is required. Requirements differ between institutions and applications.

  3. List The Documents

Prepare a list of document names and page counts. Ask the translator about readable scans, stamps, handwriting and any missing pages.

  4. Confirm The Quote And Delivery

Agree on the language pair, document scope, delivery format, timing and fees before ordering. Ask how additional pages or corrections are handled.

  5. Confirm Certified Work Separately

TrueTax provides general translation support. An independent licensed and certified translator handles certified work and confirms their qualifications and fees.

This checklist is general preparation guidance. The receiving institution controls acceptance requirements. The official passport link below is an example for passport applications, not a universal requirement for every document.
